Boss lateral couplers are made of aluminum 356 alloy, and have a one inch outlet with a brass bushing set into the casting. This allows for easier installation and removal of the sprinkler riser and reduces damage to the threads and coupler (as compared to all aluminum coupler). Boss couplers use a universal band & latch assembly. | |
